Interesting Pliosaur Facts	* In 2006 a pliosaur fossil was found in Pliosaurs breathed air through their nostrils, which were on the upper front of their heads. This means they just had to poke their heads above water a little way to take a breath. Pliosaurs were enemies of mosasaurs. They often killed the longer-necked, slower plesiosaurs. Kronosaurus was a type of pliosaur.

Pliosaur often killed long-neck plesiosaurs.
