Stegosaurus
Facts
|
Stegosaurus
didn't have the biggest brain (about 1 inch long!) but it did have
some mighty spikes on its tail!
Stegosaurs'
bony plates along its back may have helped keep its temperature
right. The plates may have had blood vessels which could absorb
heat from the sun.
Stegosaurus
had no teeth in the front, just a beak. On the sides of his jaws,
he had tiny "cheek" teeth, very weak.

Stegosaurus
had thick legs like an elephant,
which held up his weight, but didn't allow him to run very fast.
Good thing he had those secret weapons on his tail!
