About Kids Dig Dinos, and Me (Sam)

Hi! I'm Sam. People asked me to say a little about myself and how this site got built. Well, I'm a great dinosaur fan, for one thing. For another, I draw tons of pictures of dinosaurs. My mom and dad started putting them in binders but they ran out of room. Also a lot of my friends, and my teachers, liked my drawings and wanted to see more of them.

When I started writing my own dinosaur guide books, my mom thought it would be cool for me to have my own site, so here it is!

I also draw mythical creatures like the Yeti:

.. and lots of other stuff. And I like reading Shel Silverstein poems so I write some poetry like him (or sort of like him!) and I like to write stories about ghosts and vampires, and funny things too. I used to write Captain Underpants stories!

Mostly I like hanging out with my good friend Soroush (Hi Soroush!) and my other friends at school (Hi other friends at school and everywhere!).
